Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ahmed Cantu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinn Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Quinn Bishop enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop lands a jab.

It looks like Ahmed Cantu has been cut.
Cantu throws a head kick that misses
and Bishop counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Cantu tries a head kick but it misses.
Bishop doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

Bishop gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cantu to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Bishop wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Cantu manages to pass to side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bishop can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bishop really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cantu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bishop wants to control but Cantu passes into side.
Cantu scores with punches from side control.
Bishop tries to buck Cantu off but Cantu is having none of it.
Cantu happy to just control the position for now.
Bishop is trying to control Cantu's posture but Cantu avoids it.

Cantu decides to stand back up. Cantu steps back and let's Bishop get back to his feet.
Bishop takes a swing at Cantu's ribcage but misses.
Bishop lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Cantu throws a sloppy head kick and Bishop moves out of range easily.
Bishop jabs at Cantu's body.
Cantu could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Bishop looks to score with a jab to the body but Cantu is just out of range.
Bishop lands a glancing blow to the side of Cantu's head.
Cantu closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Bishop lands a body shot.
Ahmed Cantu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cantu tries to clinch but Bishop moves out of range.
Quinn Bishop is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bishop lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cantu circles away quickly and effectively.
Bishop swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Cantu moves into the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cantu tries for a takedown. No joy.
Cantu wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Cantu using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Bishop has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Bishop lands a left hand.
Bishop lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Bishop misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Cantu.

Cantu blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Cantu is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Bishop lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Oh Cantu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bishop unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Cantu! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Bishop is unloading with more strikes now! Cantu drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Quinn Bishop!
Quinn Bishop spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
