Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mega Minion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniello Pablo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pablo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Minion got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pablo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Minion has managed to get both his arms back between Pablo's legs - danger averted.

Pablo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Minion's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Minion's back!

You can see the frustration on Minion's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Minion stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pablo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Minion decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Pablo is trying to escape back to his feet but Minion uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Minion wants to stand but Pablo is controlling his arm.
Minion advances nicely into full mount.
Minion wants to get back to his feet but Pablo is holding on tight.

Minion has hold of Pablo's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Pablo manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Minion stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Minion cracks Pablo with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
