Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Araujo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seppo Silvennoinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Araujo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Who Shot Ya?. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Silvennoinen does it's job there.
Luiz Araujo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silvennoinen paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Araujo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silvennoinen as he avoids it easily.
Silvennoinen keeps the fight on the outside.
Silvennoinen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Araujo takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
We've been hearing good reports from Araujo's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Silvennoinen cracks Araujo with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Silvennoinen scores with punches from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silvennoinen works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Araujo tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Silvennoinen wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
You can see the frustration on Araujo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Silvennoinen lands a few punches from side control.
Araujo is working to avoid the ground and pound but Silvennoinen connects with a decent elbow.
Araujo is rocked!

Silvennoinen lands a strong strike to the head of Araujo. That's dazed him! Silvennoinen looking to finish here. Araujo is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Silvennoinen lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
