The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Lane with that takedown attempt.
Jordan is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Lane with a body shot.

Jordan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lane to the mat! Lane manages to get full guard.

Lane scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Lane has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Buford Lane has been cut.
Lane is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jordan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Jordan throws a wild body kick that Lane sees coming a mile off.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jordan tries to clinch up but Lane circles away and keeps his distance.
Lane is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Jordan.

Lane tries to sprawl but Jordan drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Jordan is looking to take a break and control but Lane is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Lane is doing well to control the position and prevent Jordan from advancing to side control.

Jordan thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Jordan wants to stand up but Lane is controlling the position.
Jordan throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jordan drops an elbow to the side of Lane's head.

Jordan scores with a big shot! Lane's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Lane! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
