Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rami Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Jedi Theme Music. Ryan has chosen Beast as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan misses with a shot to the body
and Harris counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ryan throws a predictable looking body shot
and Harris cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Harris has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Harris throws out a leg kick but Ryan moves out of range and Harris only half commits.

Harris looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

A nice inside leg kick there by Ryan. That's going to slow Harris down.
Harris takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Ryan moves out of range as Harris strikes.
Harris misses with a looping right.
Ryan tries to counter with a clinch but Harris shakes him off and moves away.
Ryan tries a head kick but it misses.
Harris shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ryan is trying to defend but Harris finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Harris throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Harris is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Harris in particular looking to stall.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Harris is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ryan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Harris.

Harris looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Ryan lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Harris throws a chopping leg kick but Ryan manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Harris avoids a kick to the body.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Ryan! Harris is out on his feet! Ryan rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Harris is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Harris is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
