The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fraser.
Fraser fails with an attempt to clinch.
Fraser will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fraser throws a head kick but Smith moves out of range.
Smith blocks a head kick by Fraser.
Smith throws a low kick, looking for Fraser's leg but Fraser calmly moves out of range.
Fraser looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Fraser looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Smith tries to get to full guard but Fraser has control of the leg.
Fraser is just content to waste time from the top position. Smith takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith is trying to control the position but Fraser postures up.

Fraser has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Smith to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Fraser is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Smith pulls down on the head and he's put Fraser to sleep! This one is all over!
