Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gunner State (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Go Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). State comes to the cage accompanied by Blaze Of Glory by Bon Jovi. Go Yamamoto has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

State darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
State frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

State seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Yamamoto does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

State closes the distance and clinches up with Yamamoto, looking for a takedown. State pushes Yamamoto against the cage but Yamamoto circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

State had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Yamamoto is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. State Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Yamamoto's back instead.

State connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Yamamoto to escape the position.

Yamamoto goes for a takedown in the clinch but State prevents it.

State pulls guard successfully.
State wants to sweep but no luck.

State isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Yamamoto stacks State on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Yamamoto!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Yamamoto creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Yamamoto has worked his way into a potential kimura here. State is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Yamamoto yanks on the arm and State is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Yamamoto.
