Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Javan Gavial (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donatas Radyys (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gavial swats away the attempt to clinch by Radyys.
Radyys lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gavial circles away quickly and effectively.
Radyys looks for the body kick but Gavial saw that one coming.
Radyys stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Radyys wants it to stay on the feet.
Radyys shoots in for a double leg but Gavial sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gavial looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Radyys is fending him off so far but Gavial persists. Nope, Radyys circles away and we're back to standing.
Radyys drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Gavial defends it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gavial shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Radyys pinned against the cage. Radyys gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Javan Gavial. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gavial keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Gavial shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
And Radyys tries to counter it with a takedown but Gavial pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Radyys throws a low kick but it's checked well by Gavial.

Gavial dives in and grabs Radyys's left leg, looking for a takedown. Radyys pushes down on Gavial's head and hops out.
Radyys throws a right and a left that Gavial avoids nicely.
It looked like Gavial wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Radyys wants to clinch up but Gavial keeps it at a distance.
Radyys fakes the leg kick and cracks Gavial in the body.
Gavial tries to score a power double leg takedown but Radyys sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gavial somewhat.

Gavial shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Radyys tries to clinch there but Gavial circles away.
Radyys leaves Gavial with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Gavial takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Radyys closes the distance and clinches up with Gavial, looking for a takedown. Radyys pushes Gavial against the cage but Gavial circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A little feinted left hand from Gavial on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Gavial tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Radyys defends well and Gavial ends up having to push Radyys into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Gavial closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Radyys's guard.
Radyys preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gavial avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Radyys keeping moving, preventing Gavial from controlling successfully.
Gavial in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Gavial throws a strike but Radyys rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Radyys cracks Gavial with a solid left hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Gavial wants to sweep but no luck.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gavial closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Radyys did well to prevent Gavial getting side control.

Gavial got a little sloppy there for a moment and Radyys has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gavial has managed to get both his arms back between Radyys's legs - danger averted.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Gavial's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Radyys is breathing heavily.

Gavial working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Radyys's head.
Gavial with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Gavial is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Radyys is rocked!
Gavial chips away with some ground and pound.
Radyys is still in real trouble! Can Gavial finish him?
Gavial scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Gavial loads up on a big left hand. Radyys felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Gavial looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Radyys can't hide his disappointment, as Gavial celebrates the victory.
