Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lukasz Modric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Fry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Modric or perhaps it was just good defense by Fry which made him look bad.
Fry lands with an uppercut that bounces Modric off the cage and back into rage.
Fry throws a head kick that half lands.
Modric swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fry fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Modric looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Modric tries to pull guard but Fry holds him up against the cage and eventually Modric drops back down to his feet.

Modric drops back, looking for a kneebar! Fry looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Fry looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Fry!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's time! Modric's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fry lands a nice hook to Modric's body. Modric takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
