Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mario Big Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gjalund Saltsage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Big Guy's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, riz ortolani - oh my love (feat. katyna ranieri).. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mario Big Guy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gjalund Saltsage!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Big Guy tries a head kick but it misses.
Saltsage throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Big Guy on the side of the head.


It looks like Mario Big Guy has been cut.

Saltsage takes the fight into the clinch.
Saltsage misses with an elbow over the top.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Saltsage.
Big Guy is trying to break free.
Saltsage lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Big Guy has hold of one of Saltsage's legs. Saltsage is fighting the takedown attempt but Big Guy gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Saltsage is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Saltsage really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Big Guy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Saltsage is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Saltsage can do anything to dispel that myth.
Saltsage thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Saltsage has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Big Guy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Big Guy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Saltsage looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Big Guy lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Big Guy with a flurry of punches that miss.
Saltsage wants to sweep here but Big Guy controlling him for the moment.
Big Guy working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Saltsage's head.
Saltsage keeping moving, preventing Big Guy from controlling successfully.

Big Guy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Saltsage has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Big Guy has managed to get both his arms back between Saltsage's legs - danger averted.
Big Guy wants to control from the top but Saltsage keeps moving.
Saltsage striking off his back but it's not causing Big Guy any problems.

Saltsage has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Big Guy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Saltsage throws an elbow that misses. Big Guy uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Saltsage's guard. Nice move by Big Guy!

Saltsage wants to sweep here but Big Guy controlling him for the moment.
Big Guy trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Big Guy wants to control from the top but Saltsage keeps moving.
Big Guy postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Big Guy works the jab nicely.

Saltsage moves into the clinch successfully.
Saltsage's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Saltsage pushes Big Guy back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Saltsage lands a hook to the side of the head.
Big Guy jumps guard but Saltsage stands there with Big Guy around his waist. Big Guy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Big Guy's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Saltsage is leaning against Big Guy and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
We've been informed that Saltsage has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Saltsage lands an uppercut.
Saltsage working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Saltsage escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Saltsage moves into range and clinches up with Big Guy.

Oh Big Guy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!


Mario Big Guy's cut is getting worse.
Saltsage creates a little bit of space and unloads with a massive uppercut! Big Guy drops to the mat, out cold! Wow, that was brutal! What a knockout!
