Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spencer Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jamie Roberts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Spencer Cole!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cole tries to clinch up but Roberts circles away and keeps his distance.
Roberts shoots in for a takedown but Cole shows good takedown defense.
Cole keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Cole lands with a kick to the temple. Roberts shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Roberts tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cole swivels and escapes.
Cole tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Roberts closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Roberts trying to control the position but Cole is working away.
Cole wants to control but Roberts postures up.
Cole gets back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cole is looking for a sweep. Roberts is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Roberts stops Cole from getting back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cole is controlling Roberts's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Roberts working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Roberts passes into side control, despite Cole's attempt to control the position.
Cole throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
Roberts trying to control the action but Cole is working from the bottom.
Cole struggling a bit here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Cole is looking to reverse the position.

Roberts has an Americana. Cole didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Roberts is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Roberts hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
