Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jim John!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
John will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
DeLeon lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
DeLeon lands a nice hook to John's body. John takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

and DeLeon counters with a three punch combo that has John backing up. John nods at DeLeon to acknowledge the strikes.
DeLeon misses with a double jab

and John decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in DeLeon's guard.
John sitting in guard, not really doing much.
John won't allow DeLeon to sweep him here.
DeLeon wants to stand but John is controlling the position.

DeLeon pushes John off and scrambles back to his feet.
Jim John seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
DeLeon's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and DeLeon duly obliges.

John gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and DeLeon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Donito DeLeon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim John.
John shoots in for a takedown but DeLeon shows good takedown defense.
John takes a shot right to the bread basket.

and John takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
John looks winded!
John has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from John there as he acknowledges the shot.

John is rocked!
John gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! DeLeon points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. John wakes up just in time to hear DeLeon thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
