Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Hart!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roberto Restrepo!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hart takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Restrepo scores with a jab. Hart acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Hart stalks Restrepo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Restrepo's face. Restrepo staggers backwards, shaken.
Restrepo slips a jab and a cross from Hart.
Hart takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hart on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Restrepo cracks a nice hook into Hart's ribs.
Restrepo scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hart shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Hart misses with a leg kick.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Restrepo and Hart goes tumbling to the canvas! Restrepo follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Hart is rocked!
Hart is breathing heavily.
It looks like Restrepo is going to stand back up.
Oh Hart is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Restrepo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hart. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Restrepo escapes and gets back to his feet.
Hart throws a leg kick
and Restrepo moves into the clinch.
Restrepo breaks the clinch.
Hart swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Restrepo counters with a huge right that knocks Hart out cold! Restrepo is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Roberto Restrepo!
