Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frederic Joyner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neil MacMoir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Neil MacMoir!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Chad Campbell and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacMoir misses with a two punch combination.
Joyner is looking to counter with head kicks.

As MacMoir looks to move away, Joyner throws a big counter combo but MacMoir just gets out of the way.

Joyner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A momentary lapse in concentration from MacMoir enables Joyner to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. MacMoir manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Joyner might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Joyner's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
MacMoir is trying to keep Joyner in close.
Neil MacMoir is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Joyner is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

MacMoir really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Joyner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
