Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jodeph Nostrum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Pits (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pits uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Nostrum.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Pits! But no joy.
Nostrum dives in for a single leg takedown but Pits sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Nostrum looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Despite the aggression on Pits's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Pits lands a jab to the nose.
Pits looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Nostrum has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Nostrum there as he acknowledges the shot.
Pits swings for the body but Nostrum moves out of range.
Pits circles away from the clinch attempt.
Pits throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nostrum fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Nostrum shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pits pinned against the cage. Pits gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Pits counters with a left and a right that stings Nostrum.
Pits stalks Nostrum and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nostrum's face. Nostrum staggers backwards, shaken.
Pits misses with a straight right.

Nostrum feints and as Pits raises his hands in defense, Nostrum changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Pits is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Nostrum is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Pits breaks from the clinch.
Pits works the jab nicely.
Nostrum fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Nostrum falls off balance throwing a combination
and Pits connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Jodeph Nostrum has been cut.
Nostrum misses with a few strikes there.
Pits lands with a shot to the body.
Nostrum avoids a punch combination nicely.

No joy there for Pits, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
