PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Benjamin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pure Armageddon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Pure Armageddon was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armageddon takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Brock Benjamin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Benjamin has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Bo Ma Ye Fight Club in the buildup to the fight.
Armageddon takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Benjamin throws a low kick but it's checked well by Armageddon.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Benjamin creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Armageddon jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Benjamin walks away with a smile on his face. Armageddon gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Benjamin gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Armageddon regains guard.

Benjamin remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Benjamin lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Armageddon down.

Benjamin has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Benjamin has hold of Armageddon's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Armageddon seems comfortable defending it but Benjamin has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Armageddon is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Armageddon is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Benjamin couldn't care less - he's delighted!
