Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Troy Savano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adnan Zajev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adnan Zajev will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savano throws a hook but Zajev avoids it easily.
Savano throws a combination that misses
and Zajev counters with a body kick.
Zajev throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Zajev throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Zajev fakes the leg kick and cracks Savano in the body.
Zajev lands a high kick!
Savano is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Zajev is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Savano avoids the head kick by Zajev.
Savano throws a head kick that misses.
Zajev throws out a counter right but Savano avoids it with no problem.
Zajev scores with a jab. Savano acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Zajev tries to keep at a distance but Savano has taken the fight into the clinch.

Savano is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Zajev has his hands clasped together but Savano extends and breaks Zajev's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Savano.
