The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elbow stuffs the takedown attempt from Lucas. Lucas gets slowly back to his feet.
Elbow tries to clinch up but Lucas circles away and keeps his distance.

Lucas is trying to pull guard but Elbow has him pressed against the cage.

Elbow pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Elbow just misses with a elbow thrown towards Lucas's brow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Elbow is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lucas is defending well for now.
Lucas changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Elbow fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Piercing Elbow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Lucas.
