The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rothbard tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Skyborn was well out of range. Poor timing from Rothbard.
Skyborn looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Skyborn thows a left - swing and a miss!
Skyborn takes a swing at Rothbard's ribcage but misses.
A jab from Skyborn misses.
Skyborn is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rothbard.
Skyborn has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Rothbard is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Skyborn walks into a jab.
Skyborn avoids the body shot from Rothbard.

Rothbard closes the distance and clinches.
Rothbard scores with a shoulder strike.
Skyborn throws a head punch that misses.

Rothbard tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Skyborn's elbow.

Skyborn pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Rothbard rushes Skyborn and presses him up against the cage.
Rothbard pushes Skyborn back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Skyborn has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Rothbard lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Skyborn.
Rothbard makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Skyborn throws a head punch that misses.
Rothbard misses with a punch to the body.

Rothbard drops Skyborn onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Skyborn is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Rothbard for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Skyborn fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Rothbard creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Skyborn with a big uppercut! Skyborn tries to clinch up but Rothbard pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Skyborn to the mat! Skyborn covers up and Rothbard unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
