Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Matt Harmon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Low Qui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Matt Harmon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Low Qui!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Qui is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Qui scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Harmon fails with the takedown.
Despite the aggression on Qui's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Harmon darts in looking for a takedown but Qui gets double underhooks and turns Harmon into the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Qui has closed the distance and engaged Harmon in a clinch.
Qui struggles to land a body shot inside as Harmon controls his hands.
Harmon tries to throw a body punch but Qui avoids it by throwing Harmon back against the cage.

Harmon is fighting off a takedown attempt but Qui is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Harmon to the mat. Harmon regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Harmon wants to get back to his feet but Qui passes into half guard.
Qui is keen to just control but Harmon is a slippery customer.
Harmon looks like he's trying to stand up.
Qui landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Harmon tries to get to full guard but Qui has control of the leg.
Qui seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Harmon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Qui is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Harmon is looking to escape.

Harmon tries to kick Qui off but Qui keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Harmon is trying to stand up here but Qui is controlling him well.

Harmon has one foot on Qui's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Qui looks to land a combination. Harmon sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Harmon gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Qui counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Qui has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.

Qui loads up on a big right hand but Harmon slips the punch.
Harmon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
No joy there for Qui, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Harmon shoots in for a takedown but Qui shows good takedown defense.
Harmon tries for a takedown but Qui sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Harmon avoiding damage.
Harmon goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Harmon avoids the elbow strike from Qui, against the cage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Qui breaks the clinch.
Harmon throws a low kick, looking for Qui's leg but Qui calmly moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Low Qui dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!

and Harmon counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Harmon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Qui counters with a nice body shot.
Qui stalks Harmon and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Harmon's face. Harmon staggers backwards, shaken.
Harmon fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Harmon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Qui counters with a one-two to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Harmon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Qui will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Harmon throws a big counter combination but Qui scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Matt Harmon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Harmon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Qui.
Harmon waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Qui.
Harmon cracks Qui with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Qui gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Qui escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Qui misses with a two punch combination.
Harmon is looking to counter punch.
Harmon feints and as Qui raises his hands in defense, Harmon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Qui pushes Harmon off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Qui is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Harmon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Qui misses with a jab, cross combination.
Harmon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Qui misses with a two punch combination.
Qui misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Harmon.
Harmon tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Qui defends well and Harmon ends up having to push Qui into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Qui misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Harmon fails with the takedown
and Qui counters with a three punch combo that has Harmon backing up. Harmon nods at Qui to acknowledge the strikes.
Harmon shoots in but no luck this time.
Qui has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Harmon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Qui as he jumps to the side.
Harmon darts in and clinches Qui up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Qui breaks the clinch.
Qui throws a hook to the side of Harmon's head but Harmon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Harmon moves out of range of the body kick from Qui.
Qui tries to clinch there but Harmon circles away.
Harmon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Harmon is looking to counter the offense by Qui and move into the clinch.
Qui lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Qui avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Harmon misses with a takedown attempt
and Qui counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Harmon is rocked!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Low Qui showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Oh Harmon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Harmon tries for a takedown but Qui circles away easily
and Qui counters with a big slam. Harmon looks out but Qui is landing strikes to his unconscious opponent! Eventually the ref steps in to save Harmon from any more punishment. A brutal conclusion to the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Low Qui!
