Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Domilis Radys (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sayd Yang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sayd Yang!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yang shoots in for a takedown but Radys shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Radys just misses with a punch to the body.
Yang is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Nice takedown defense from Radys. No joy for Yang on that attempt.
Yang uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Radys.
Radys pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Yang fails with a takedown attempt.
Domilis Radys has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sayd Yang.

Radys wanted to stand there but Yang had control of the position.

Radys drops down looking for a counter takedown but Yang sprawls and moves away.

Radys thows a body kick. Yang tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Radys dives in and grabs Yang's left leg, looking for a takedown. Yang pushes down on Radys's head and hops out.

Yang tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Radys just stands there and leans against the cage.

Radys scores with a head kick. Yang tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Yang looks to land a combination but Radys avoids it well.
It looked like Radys wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Yang misses with a two punch combination.
Yang blocks a head kick by Radys.
Radys keeps Yang at a distance using the push kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Radys showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Yang.
Radys half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Yang tries for a takedown but Radys sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Yang.

Yang sneaks out the side door and pushes Radys away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Radys throws a leg kick which misses Yang's front leg but catches the back leg as Yang tries to avoid it.

As Radys backs off Yang throws a huge counter combo but Radys manages to avoid it all.
Yang shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Radys eats them both and turns towards Yang to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Radys throws a front kick that sends Yang stumbling back into the cage.
Radys misses with an uppercut. Yang saw that one coming.
Radys pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Yang tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Radys avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Radys throws a series of punches but Yang moves out of range.
Yang dives in for a single leg takedown but Radys sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Radys throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Yang on the side of the head.

It seemed like Yang was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Yang is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
I really don't envy Yang right now.

Sayd Yang has got the better of the ground game so far.
Radys's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yang staying busy and making it hard for Radys to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yang looks to clinch

and Radys counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Yang is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Radys wants to control from the top but Yang keeps moving.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Radys enables Yang to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Radys manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Yang is looking to work some ground and pound but Radys has wrist control.

Radys swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
