Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Erasmo Wilkinson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tyron Woodley!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woodley lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wilkinson circles away quickly and effectively.
Wilkinson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Woodley tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
It looked like Wilkinson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Wilkinson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Woodley has Wilkinson up against the cage in a clinch.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Wilkinson.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wilkinson just leaning against Woodley, taking a breather.
Wilkinson is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Woodley is keeping busy.
Wilkinson stalls.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Woodley as Wilkinson tries to tie him up.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Erasmo Wilkinson.
Danga de danga de dang - Woodley scores with a four punch combination!


It looks like Erasmo Wilkinson has been cut.

Wilkinson clinches with his opponent.
Wilkinson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Woodley backwards.
A nice right hand lands inside from Wilkinson.
Woodley fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Wilkinson pulls Woodley into guard.
Wilkinson wants to stand but Woodley is controlling the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wilkinson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Woodley is one step ahead there.
Wilkinson trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Wilkinson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Wilkinson has his hands on Woodley's head, controlling the position.

Woodley decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Wilkinson, up you get!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wilkinson gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Wilkinson tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Woodley is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Wilkinson buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Wilkinson!! Wilkinson is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Woodley throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyron Woodley!
During a confident post fight interview, Tyron Woodley thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
