The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitichyan looks for a takedown but Pasqual sprawls well.

Pasqual looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and Pasqual counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Mitichyan closes the distance and clinches up with Pasqual, looking for a takedown. Mitichyan pushes Pasqual against the cage but Pasqual circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mitichyan takes the fight into the clinch.
Pasqual is looking to control Mitichyan's arms but Mitichyan gets an underhook and turns him. Now Pasqual has his back to the cage.
Pasqual creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
