Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dillan Draydon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Sturd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Draydon's entrance music is Beneath The Mask - Makai. A fine choice. Sturd has chosen Kanye West - Stronger as his entrance music. The key to victory for Dillan Draydon has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sturd steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Draydon.

Draydon is trying desperately to improve position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sturd is on top in guard.

Draydon has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sturd is working away from the top position though.

Sturd working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Sturd takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Draydon tries to roll over but Sturd keeps him under control.
Draydon moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Draydon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sturd doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sturd manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Draydon tries a head kick but it misses.
Sturd sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Draydon pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Draydon tries to clinch but Sturd moves out of range.
Draydon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sturd was well out of range. Poor timing from Draydon.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jason Sturd dominated that round.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

A thudding body kick lands there by Draydon!
Draydon throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sturd stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Draydon scores with a hook to the body. Sturd takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Draydon wants to clinch.
Draydon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sturd swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Draydon lands a with a good body shot.
A head kick misses from Draydon.

Sturd is breathing heavily.
Draydon tries to land a knee to the head but Sturd blocks with his arms.

Sturd drops down looking for an ankle pick but Draydon pulls his leg out and moves away.

Draydon bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Sturd's head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Draydon throws an overhand right that drops Sturd like a sack of potatoes! Draydon dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
