Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Benjamin Miles !
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miles displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Danneskjöld.
Danneskjöld sets himself, and Miles steps forward looking for the clinch! Danneskjöld avoids it this time.
Danneskjöld has been working on his boxing with his coaches at FORBIDDEN VIOLENCE in the buildup to the fight.
Danneskjöld uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Miles .
Danneskjöld shoots for a takedown but Miles saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Miles swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Danneskjöld changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Miles tries to avoid it but Danneskjöld manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Miles to the ground. Miles escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ragnar Danneskjöld. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Danneskjöld fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Miles avoids it really well and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Miles misses with a wild body shot.
Danneskjöld tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Miles manages to circle out of the way.

Danneskjöld gets the takedown into side control.
Miles taking punishment in the form of punches.
Danneskjöld is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Miles takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Danneskjöld wants to control but Miles is keeping him busy.
Miles pushes Danneskjöld away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Danneskjöld gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Miles can do anything to dispel that myth.
Miles is not content to let Danneskjöld control the position.
Miles wants to get back to his feet but Danneskjöld drags him back down.

You can see the frustration on Miles 's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Miles on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Miles is pushing Danneskjöld's head away, looking to escape. Danneskjöld manages to hold on to the position though.
Danneskjöld is looking to take a break and control but Miles is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Miles is trying to get back to his feet.
Danneskjöld has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Miles gets back to half guard.
Miles is looking to improve his position.
Miles pushes Danneskjöld off looking to stand but Danneskjöld dives back in and keeps control.
Danneskjöld controlling the action here.
Miles really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Danneskjöld. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Danneskjöld is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Danneskjöld works his way into full mount!
Danneskjöld seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Miles is holding on tight.
Danneskjöld takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Miles really wants to buck Danneskjöld off and get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Danneskjöld with shots to the head and body - Miles looks very uncomfortable down there.

Miles throwing hammer fists to the chest of Danneskjöld. What's that going to do exactly?
Miles is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Danneskjöld takes Miles 's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Miles is in trouble.
Danneskjöld has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Miles 's body.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Danneskjöld controlling the positon.
Miles is trying to stand back up.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Danneskjöld has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Miles is in real trouble here. Danneskjöld gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Miles is tapping out! Danneskjöld wins by rear naked choke!
