Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ike Boyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nate Diaz is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Boyd has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Diaz clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Diaz is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Boyd off. It looks like it's working - Boyd slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Diaz displaying calm under pressure there.

Diaz dives in and grabs Boyd's left leg, looking for a takedown. Boyd pushes down on Diaz's head and hops out.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Diaz has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Boyd is on him like a limpet, forcing Diaz back against the cage.

Diaz shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Boyd eats them both and turns towards Diaz to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Diaz throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Boyd wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
