Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Colombu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nidhish Dhillon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dhillon has chosen Sweet Victory as his entrance music. Nidhish Dhillon will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dhillon lands a leg kick that knocks Colombu off balance momentarily.

Colombu closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dhillon quickly recovers to half guard.
Colombu thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Colombu has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Colombu wants to control but Dhillon is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Colombu missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Colombu not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Colombu is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Colombu throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Colombu looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dhillon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Colombu stops Dhillon from getting back to his feet.
Colombu working over Dhillon with some ground and pound. Dhillon looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Dhillon is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Colombu scores with a couple of nice shots.

Dhillon is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Colombu is taking a breather. Dhillon says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Colombu lands a nice short elbow.
Dhillon is still in real trouble! Can Colombu finish him?
Colombu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Colombu lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Dhillon quite badly. Dhillon pulls Colombu in close trying to recover. Colombu postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Dhillon on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Dhillon doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
