Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Raja Ohri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonidas Sparta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ohri comes to the cage accompanied by The Next Episode. Raja Ohri had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Leonidas Sparta has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sparta feints and as Ohri raises his hands in defense, Sparta changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ohri seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Sparta works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Sparta is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Sparta is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sparta in particular looking to stall.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sparta tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ohri knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Sparta seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Sparta is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Ohri!

Sparta's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Ohri is breathing heavily.

Sparta is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ohri can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Sparta jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Ohri is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Ohri and Sparta has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Sparta tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Sparta is standing up, even though he is in mount.

Sparta fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ohri sprawls well initially but Sparta persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Sparta is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Sparta takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sparta is looking to work his way around to Ohri's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
Sparta moves to his opponent's back but Ohri bucks him off and ends up in guard. A bit of a disaster there for Sparta.

Ohri is posturing up here but Sparta has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Ohri tries to roll out but it's too tight and Ohri has to tap! Slick submission there by Sparta!

Post fight, Leonidas Sparta took to the microphone: 'THIS IS SPARTA!'.
