Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lee The saint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and tommy sewell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The saint feints and as sewell raises his hands in defense, The saint changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
sewell avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The saint stands up from sewell's guard - The saint perhaps looking for a knockout.
No luck for The saint with that takedown attempt.
The saint circles away from the clinch attempt.
The saint shoots for a double leg takedown but sewell sprawls well. He's pushed The saint's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
The saint misses with a few strikes there.
The saint shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has sewell pinned against the cage. sewell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
sewell tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
sewell lands a nice shot to the head.
The saint wants to try and get back to his feet.
sewell takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
sewell lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

sewell working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. The saint turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips sewell off and cradles The saint's limp body as sewell celebrates with his corner.
