The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ladd slips a straight right by Carruthers Jr.
Carruthers Jr bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ladd's head.

Ladd takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Ladd misses with a jab, cross combination.

Carruthers Jr has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
