Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zepe Da Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jordan has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Zepe Da Silva has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Silva tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jordan defends well and Da Silva ends up having to push Jordan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Da Silva should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Gary Jordan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zepe Da Silva.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jordan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Da Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Jordan sprawls well. He's pushed Da Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Da Silva has eaten all the pies!

Da Silva drops back looking for a leg! Jordan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jordan manages to kick Da Silva off! Da Silva jumps back into Jordan's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jordan has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Da Silva escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Da Silva!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Da Silva has hold of Jordan's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Jordan tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Da Silva cranks the arm and Jordan screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Jordan, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
