Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lake Dutchman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Big Bad John. John Thomas is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, John Thomas!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Dutchman on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dutchman tries to get out of the position.
Dutchman wants to get back to his feet but Thomas is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Thomas takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Thomas feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lake Dutchman will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lake Dutchman.
