And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bugurt Bugurtov!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Viktor Lagutenko and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin wants to clinch.
Griffin looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Bugurtov uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Bugurtov looks to throw the jab but Griffin is out of range.
Griffin throwing a counter right hand but Bugurtov manages to avoid it.
Bugurtov throws a leg kick that misses.
Bugurtov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bugurtov swings widly with a right hand
and Griffin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Griffin misses with a two punch combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Griffin throws a lazy right hand but Bugurtov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bugurt Bugurtov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bugurtov shoots in but no luck this time.
As Bugurtov looks to move away, Griffin throws a big counter combo but Bugurtov just gets out of the way.
Griffin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bugurtov goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Griffin drops Bugurtov with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bugurtov looks back up at him and smiles so Griffin waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like Bugurt Bugurtov has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bugurtov closes the distance and clinches up with Griffin, looking for a takedown. Bugurtov pushes Griffin against the cage but Griffin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bugurtov misses with a wild body shot.
Bugurtov fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Griffin is out of range.
Griffin appears to be looking for a big counter.
Griffin throws a hook but Bugurtov blocks it.
Bugurtov pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
An inside leg kick from Bugurtov misses.
Bugurtov throws a head kick that half lands.
Griffin has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Russian Bears Training Center in the buildup to the fight.
Griffin lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Bugurtov - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Griffin!
