Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Huey Stokes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen Ortz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Stokes.
Ortz throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Stokes gets caught napping as Ortz dives in and scores a takedown. Stokes manages to retain guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ortz pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stokes is keeping the position for now.
Ortz lands a couple of elbows.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ortz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Ortz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stokes swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ortz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Stokes's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ortz is pressing down on Stokes's thigh, looking to free his foot. Stokes is holding on for now.
Ortz maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Stokes could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Ortz has cracked it and Stokes is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Ortz!
