Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Chi Hubbard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Alec Silifant!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silifant drives through with a takedown into guard.

Silifant avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Silifant sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Silifant stands and steps away. Hubbard gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hubbard changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Silifant looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Hubbard stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Silifant shoots in and gets a takedown into Hubbard's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Hubbard looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Silifant is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Silifant is looking to stand up but Hubbard won't let him.
Silifant controlling from the top position.
Silifant working some strikes from top position.
Silifant engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Silifant with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Hubbard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hubbard is looking for a triangle but Silifant pushes his legs off easily.
Silifant is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Silifant trying to control the position from guard on top but Hubbard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silifant slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Silifant wants to stand and escape but instead Hubbard has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Hubbard postures up.
Hubbard will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Silifant is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Silifant is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Silifant gets a clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Silifant tries to break free but Hubbard pushes him back against the cage.

Silifant pulls guard.
Silifant tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Silifant managing to control the position.
Silifant keeping moving, preventing Hubbard from controlling successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alec Silifant dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Silifant drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Silifant's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Silifant thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Hubbard keeping moving, preventing Silifant from controlling successfully.
Silifant has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Silifant missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Hubbard is rocked!

Silifant gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Oh Hubbard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silifant connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Hubbard to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Silifant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Alec Silifant!
