A fine choice. Kolov is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Metallica - Enter Sandman. The key to victory for Julius Caesar has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Kolov!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caesar misses with a wild body shot.
Caesar slaps away a takedown attempt from Kolov, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Caesar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kolov doesn't manage to clinch there - Caesar circles away.
Caesar keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Caesar scores with a hook.


It looks like Dan Kolov has been cut.
Kolov wants to clinch
and Caesar counters with a lovely straight right hand!

letting Caesar counter with a right hand.
Julius Caesar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Kolov.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Caesar throws out a powerful jab.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Caesar breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Kolov closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Caesar to the mat! Caesar manages to get full guard.

Kolov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Caesar is keeping the position for now.

Kolov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kolov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Caesar on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Caesar tries to get out of the position.
Kolov looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Kolov drops back looking for a leg! Caesar is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Caesar manages to kick Kolov off! Kolov jumps back into Caesar's guard.
Kolov prevents Caesar from getting back to his feet.
Kolov passes Caesar's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Kolov seems to be looking for submissions.
Caesar pushes Kolov off looking to stand but Kolov dives back in and keeps control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Caesar has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Kolov passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Caesar!
Caesar is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Kolov trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Kolov working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Caesar looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Kolov! Submission of the night perhaps?

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Dan Kolov!

Dan Kolov took to the mic in his post fight interview and said '!!! HEY !!! I AM NOT SURPRISED MOTHERFUCKERS !!!'.
Julius Caesar spoke after the fight, saying 'Experience is the teacher of all things.'.
