The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christensen feints and as Frederick raises his hands in defense, Christensen changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Frederick is trying to control the position but Christensen postures up.
Frederick has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Christensen's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Frederick will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Frederick striking off his back but it's not causing Christensen any problems.
Frederick avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Frederick wants to control the position but Christensen says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Frederick has a hand on Christensen's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Christensen takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Christensen prevents Frederick from getting the reversal.

Frederick takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Christensen is landing with some decent strikes but Frederick is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Christensen drops a big elbow. That's hurt Frederick! More shots from Christensen and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
