The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uxxarest throws the left hand but Blye avoids the punch easily.
Blye slips under a jab.
Blye cracks Uxxarest with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Blye shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Uxxarest as he jumps to the side.
Uxxarest tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Blye shoots in and gets a takedown into Uxxarest's guard.
Blye throws a strike but Uxxarest rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Uxxarest drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Blye manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Uxxarest has Blye in his guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Blye stands up over Uxxarest, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Nice uppercut lands for Blye. That snapped Uxxarest's head back.
Umbra Uxxarest is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Blye decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

It looked like Uxxarest wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Uxxarest dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Uxxarest scores with a counter punch that sends Blye to the canvas! Uxxarest smells blood - he's punishing Blye with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Blye has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
