Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simppa Koivu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devon Macintye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koivu comes to the cage accompanied by Omnium gatherum - The Return. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macintye lands a nice hook to Koivu's body. Koivu takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Devon Macintye seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Koivu tries to clinch up but Macintye circles away and keeps his distance.

Koivu catches Macintye with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Koivu goes for a takedown attempt but Macintye pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

and Koivu counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Macintye thinking.

Devon Macintye is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Koivu has taken the fight to the clinch.
Koivu is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Koivu lands with a light punch inside.

That has opened up Devon Macintye's cut even more.
Macintye wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Koivu has him pressed against the cage.
