Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cyr ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Moop swats away the attempt to clinch by Cyr.
Moop replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Cyr blocks it well.
Cyr doesn't manage to clinch there - Moop circles away.

Cyr clinches up with Moop and pushes him back against the cage.
Cyr blocks an uppercut.
Moop tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Cyr jumps guard.
Moop being controlled here momentarily.
Moop stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cyr swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cyr pulls Moop in close to prevent any damage.

Moop trying to control but Cyr is working from the bottom.
Moop tries to free his leg and advance position but Cyr is retaining full guard.
Moop works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Cyr pulls Moop in close to his closed guard and prevents Moop from doing any damage or advancing position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Cyr cracks Moop with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Moop looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Cyr finish him?

It looks like Moop Moop has been cut.

Cyr looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Cyr slips a nice elbow through Moop's hands, connecting with Moop's forehead.

Cyr decides to stand up.
Cyr flashes Moop a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Moop's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Moop crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Cyr punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
