The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cali throws a combination. Conway tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

We've been hearing reports that Cali has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Cali swats away the attempt to clinch by Conway.
Conway closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Conway lands in his opponent's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Conway controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Conway is defended easily by Cali.
As Conway looks to move away, Cali throws a big counter combo but Conway just gets out of the way.
Cali tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Conway paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cali looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Conway is fending him off so far but Cali persists. Nope, Conway circles away and we're back to standing.
Conway unleashes a big counter combination but Cali bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Conway has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Cali clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Conway controlling the position well here. Cali rolled but Conway kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Cali just trying to survive but Conway is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Conway pulls Cali into guard.
Conway has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Cali should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Conway has tightened it up now! Cali should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
