The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Dier misses.

Rosiakos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dier tries to avoid it but Rosiakos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dier to the ground. Dier escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Rosiakos uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dier.

Dier gets caught napping as Rosiakos dives in and scores a takedown. Dier manages to retain guard.

Dier manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Rosiakos keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Rosiakos goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Rosiakos changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Dier fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Sol Dier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mateuszis Rosiakos.

and Dier connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Rosiakos shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dier defends it nicely.
Dier pounces like a tiger and cracks Rosiakos with a vicious hook! Rosiakos is down but not out! Dier follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
