Aureus shoots in for a takedown but Irene shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Aureus looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Irene with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Aureus lands with a kick to the temple. Irene shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Goodnight Irene's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Aureus has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Aureus tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Irene defends well and Aureus ends up having to push Irene into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Irene swings wildly with an uppercut but Aureus uses good head movement to avoid it.

Aureus is breathing heavily.
Irene lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

The cut above Staph Aureus's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Irene digs a right hand underneath Aureus's ribcage. Aureus let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Irene lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Irene throws a big uppercut that drops Aureus! More strikes from Irene and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Aureus lies dazed against the cage as Irene celebrates with his cornermen!

Goodnight Irene was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
Staph Aureus spoke after the fight, saying 'You win some you lose some . I'll be back, dont worry about it !'.
