The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanaka fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Beefrock manages to avoid it.
Beefrock feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Tanaka throws a jab but it's blocked by Beefrock.
Tanaka misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Beefrock.
Beefrock throws a hook to the side of Tanaka's head but Tanaka sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Tanaka! But no joy.
Beefrock takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Beefrock misses with a low kick.
It seemed like Tanaka was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Tanaka takes a swing at Beefrock's ribcage but misses.

It looks like Lump Beefrock has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Tanaka.
Beefrock throws a punch but it's blocked by Tanaka.

Beefrock's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Beefrock throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Tanaka stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Tanaka stuns Beefrock with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Beefrock lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Tanaka has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Tanaka and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Tanaka ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Beefrock moves away.

Beefrock looks to score with a jab to the body but Tanaka is just out of range.

Beefrock closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tanaka has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Beefrock seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Tanaka can turn it around.

Tanaka misses with the head strike.
Beefrock wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

A right handed body shot lands from Beefrock.

Beefrock pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Tanaka takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Beefrock scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Beefrock digs a good body shot into Tanaka's ribs.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Tanaka walks straight into a right hand from Beefrock - that's dropped him! Beefrock jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Tanaka from any more punishment! Tanaka complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
