The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Billings stuffs the takedown.
Pittman tries for a takedown but Billings circles away easily

and Billings counters by moving into the clinch.

Billings breaks the clinch.
Billings does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Pittman uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Billings .
A quick step to the side and Pittman tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Pittman closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Billings swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Billings takes a kick to the side of the head.

Billings is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Pittman's half guard.

Billings wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pittman, who protects the arm well.

That's time! Pittman's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Pittman counters with a one-two to the body.

Pittman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Billings , pushing him back against the cage.

Billings closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Pittman's guard.

Billings changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Billings has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Pittman clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Billings is trying to stick to Pittman's back but Pittman is turning into Billings . He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Billings 's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Pittman.

Pittman wants to sweep here but Billings controlling him for the moment.
Billings stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pittman swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Pittman has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Billings is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Billings decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Pittman isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Billings stacks Pittman on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Billings !

Billings is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Pittman defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
You can see the frustration on Pittman's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
