The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A cross from Zegan lands.
Harris walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Harris with a lazy takedown attempt
and Zegan counters with a nice uppercut.
Zegan jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Zegan connects with a leg kick. Harris looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Zegan fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Harris takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Harris on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Harris tries to move into range but Zegan moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zegan pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Harris back to the cage. Zegan follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Harris is rocked!
A nice leg kick lands there from Zegan.
Harris is still on wobbly legs! Can Zegan finish him?
Zegan fakes the leg kick and cracks Harris in the body.
Harris has his takedown stuffed
and Zegan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Harris looks winded!
Harris gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Maciej Zegan!
In his post fight interview, Maciej Zegan started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
