Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hugh Chung!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Columbo Gatti and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chung changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nemirov tries to avoid it but Chung manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nemirov to the ground. Nemirov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A counter left hand to the body from Nemirov misses its target.
Nemirov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chung moves away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Chung! But no joy.
Chung tries to clinch but Nemirov moves out of range.
Nemirov connects with a body shot.
Nemirov throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nemirov getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Nemirov lands with a good body shot.
Chung tries to close the distance and clinch but Nemirov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chung darts in trying to clinch
and Nemirov counters with a stiff right hand.

Nemirov tries to bum rush Chung with a series of wild strikes but Chung uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Chung moves into the clinch.
Chung's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Nemirov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nemirov connects with a crisp jab.
Chung ducks under a wild hook from Nemirov.
Chung shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nemirov but Nemirov pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Chung closes the distance looking to clinch
and Nemirov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Chung is rocked!
Nemirov is stalking Chung. Chung circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Nemirov, and it's lights out! Chung really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lazar Nemirov!
