Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Renato Robles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Marko Spasic!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spasic wants to clinch up but Robles keeps it at a distance.

Spasic takes the fight into the clinch.
Robles controlling the action here for a moment.

Spasic escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Spasic lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Robles circles away quickly and effectively.
A head kick misses from Spasic.
Robles leaves Spasic with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Spasic with a poor takedown
and Robles counters with a left and a right that stings Spasic.
Robles dives in for a single leg takedown but Spasic sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Spasic throws a head kick that misses.

Spasic gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Robles is looking for a takedown.
Spasic blocking some punches.

Spasic breaks the clinch.
Spasic tries to clinch up.
Spasic shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Robles but Robles pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Renato Robles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marko Spasic.
Robles misses with a head kick.

Spasic decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Robles manages to get to full guard.
Spasic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Robles. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Spasic won't allow Robles to sweep him here.

Robles has his feet on Spasic's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Horrible takedown attempt by Robles or perhaps it was just good defense by Spasic, which made it look bad.
Marko Spasic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Spasic is looking to slow Robles down with leg kicks.
Spasic wants to clinch.

Spasic is looking to clinch.
Robles seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Spasic clinches with his opponent.
Robles stalling against the cage.

Robles pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Spasic moves in looking to clinch but Robles pushes him off.
Robles throws a big counter combination but Spasic scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Spasic fails with the takedown

and Robles moves into the clinch.
Spasic prevents Robles from breaking the clinch.
Spasic is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Spasic tries to circle away but Robles has him pinned against the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Spasic keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Robles's efforts to push away.
Robles really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Robles decides to pull guard.
Robles bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Spasic's guard.

Robles prevents Spasic from getting back to his feet.
Robles postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Robles stands and steps away. Spasic gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Spasic fails with a takedown attempt.
Spasic has a takedown stuffed.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Renato Robles dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Robles closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Spasic's guard.
Spasic is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Spasic has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Robles is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Spasic.
Robles happy to just control the position for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Spasic tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Robles presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Spasic is breathing heavily.

Robles looking to secure an arm triangle but Spasic defends it well.
Spasic tries to reverse the position but Robles maintains control.
Robles controlling from the full mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Spasic tries to lock up and control but Robles gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Spasic tries to control Robles's body but Robles pushes him off. Spasic squirms to his side and now Robles has his back!
A bit of a pause in the action here. Robles controlling the positon.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Spasic is trying to stand back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Robles has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Spasic is in real trouble here. Robles gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Spasic is tapping out! Robles wins by rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Renato Robles!
