Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kareem Dennis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phill Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brooks has chosen Cult Of Personailty as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Phill Brooks will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dennis sprawls well. Dennis wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Brooks gets slowly back to his feet.

Dennis closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Brooks quickly recovers to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dennis in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Brooks tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Dennis !
