Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bony Phony (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cross's entrance music is The New Black by Every Time I Die. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, David Cross!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bony Phony!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cross closes the distance and clinches up with Phony, looking for a takedown. Cross pushes Phony against the cage but Phony circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Phony looks to land a combination but Cross avoids it well.
Cross shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
It looks like David Cross has been cut.
Phony loads up on a big right hand but Cross slips the punch.
Phony rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cross moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cross shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Phony as he avoids it easily.
Phony dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Cross clinches.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Phony.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Phony.
A hook to the body from Phony.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Phony.
A right hook to the body lands for Phony.
Cross is breathing heavily.
Phony lands a body shot.
Phony lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Phony lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Cross backwards.
Phony taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Phony lands with a right to the head.
Cross's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Phony presses Cross against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
A left hand lands to the body for Phony.
Phony manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Phony lands with a nice body punch.
Cross takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Phony throws a right and a left that both miss.
Phony rushes Cross with punches - Cross moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Cross goes down! Phony follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bony Phony!
